RAIN OUT DATES

 

Whenever there is a cancellation due to weather, make up games will be scheduled on Thursdays at 5:30 or 7:00pm . Games and times rained out will be played at the same times on that Thursday.

 

GAME DAY WEATHER

 

On the day of a game, go to the home page on our website under “Latest News”. This is where we will update game cancellations due to inclement weather. Please check the website whenever you feel the weather is questionable. Final updates will be made up until 30 minutes before a game! We play in light rain but no lightning can be sighted! Also, if the fields are too wet we cannot play, per policy of the Town of Lakeshore, so that the fields will not be damaged.

 

When there is any thunder or lightning, the game must not start or it must be put on hold if the game is underway until the lightning or thunder stops. League insurance policy states that the coaches & referees must enforce this policy and direct the players to leave the field & stay in their cars if game is put on hold. If weather conditions do not change after 20 minutes, depending on the amount of time played, the game is to be rescheduled (except in tournaments, where players wait until the storm has passed & then play is restarted).
